Tribeca Flashpoint College
Tribeca Flashpoint College is an accredited, private college located in Chicago, Illinois, US. It offers two- and four-year degree programs in media, arts, and communication.
==History==
Founded in 2007 as Flashpoint, The Academy of Media Arts and Sciences, the college entered a 50/50 partnership with Tribeca Enterprises, the company established by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff best known for producing the Tribeca Film Festival, in April 2010. At the time of the partnership, Flashpoint was renamed Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy. In 2012, Sterling Capital Partners, a private equity firm, became the majority owner of Tribeca Flashpoint Academy. In April 2015, the school announced that it had become Tribeca Flashpoint College.
